Unique honey with the oldest taste and the clay pot with 5500 years old design.
In 2003 during the construction of Baku-Ceyhan oil pipeline, on Trialeti Ridge, in the tomb of a noble woman, discovered by chance, the archaeologists found pots made of clay. Scientific researched confirmed that the honey found in the ceramic vessel is approximately 5500 years old. Thus a unique discovery changed the history. Georgian honey is 12 centuries older than Egyptian Tutankhamun honey, considered the oldest honey till today.
,,Honey and Irinola Company'' was founded in 2017. The company continues the 200 year family tradition. The aim of the company is to produce natural honey, which is made from the field flowers growing in the Samtskhe-Javakheti Alpine Zone.
